Ukulele for Beginners ~ Fall 2025 Series

Join us for this fun series for adults and teens taught by music instructor Ginger Lai, M.M. Yale School of Music, M.A. Drexel University, B.M. University of Southern Mississippi (USM). Playing the ukulele can help to enhance your creativity and sense of self-expression. 

The dates in the series are

October 20

November 3

November 24

December 8

December 15.

You can register for as many sessions as you like. Ukuleles will be provided for the first 8 people who register.

You are welcome to bring your own soprano ukulele for the class.

Ginger Lai of Taiwan embraces a multi-facet career in music performance and music therapy. Her mentors include William Purvis and Dennis Behm. As a French hornist Ginger has performed in New York City’s Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the National Concert Hall in Taiwan. She regularly performs with the Westchester Band, Bronxville Pop, Lehman College Community Band, and Yonkers Philharmonic. Ginger strongly supports the athletic involvement of her students and places equal importance in sports, arts, nutrition and music. Ginger is married to a Polish digital visual artist and they have a child who was born on Christmas Eve.
