Jumpstart Ukulele!

Discover how fun and relaxing it can be to play the ukulele in this friendly series for teens and adults,

led by music instructor Ginger Lai, M.M. (Yale School of Music), M.A. (Drexel University), B.M. (University of Southern Mississippi).

Learn how to tune, play basic chords, and use simple strumming patterns so you can start playing songs right away - no prior experience needed.

You can register for as many sessions as you like; each class will include a brief review so newcomers can jump in.

Ukuleles will be provided for the first 8 people who register. You are also welcome to bring your own soprano ukulele.

Ginger is a performer and music therapist who has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Taiwan’s National Concert Hall,

and performs regularly with local ensembles in Westchester and the Bronx.
